1. Introduction & Overview

MadGame is a social board game platform that enables players to enjoy iconic party games—including Werewolf (Ma Sói), Undercover (Ai Là Gián Điệp), Avalon, Secret Hitler, Coup, Love Letter, and Liar's Dice—both with friends in online multiplayer rooms and alongside intelligent MadLove AI companions.

2. Information We Process

A. Account & Profile Information

To facilitate multiplayer rooms, persistent rankings, and saved game progress, users may create an account using an email address, password, and chosen display nickname.

• Credentials: Passwords are cryptographically salted and hashed on our backend; we never store plain text passwords.
• Local Security: If you select "Remember Password", your credentials are stored solely in your device's hardware-backed Secure Storage (Android KeyStore / iOS Keychain).

B. Gameplay & Real-Time Match Data

During matches, game actions (such as card plays, votes, nominations, and eliminations) are transmitted via secure WebSockets to coordinate game logic in real-time across connected players. These events are processed to determine game outcomes and match statistics.

C. MadLove AI Companions

MadGame features AI companions to fill vacant game seats or provide practice matches. Interaction with AI companions is completely transparent: all AI participants are prominently labeled with clear badges. Game prompts sent to game bots contain only game board state (roles, phases, turns) and do NOT transmit personal identifying information.

3. Advertising Practices (Google AdMob)

MadGame utilizes Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to support free gameplay via banner, interstitial, and rewarded ad placements.

• Data Handling: The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect diagnostic data, coarse location derived from IP addresses, and standard advertising identifiers (Google Advertising ID / Apple IDFA subject to App Tracking Transparency permission).
• Privacy Choices & Consent: In applicable regions (such as the EEA and UK), the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) provides users with granular consent controls regarding personalized versus non-personalized advertising.
• Publisher Authorized Sellers: MadGame adheres to our official Authorized Digital Sellers declaration hosted at app-ads.txt under publisher ID pub-1133420470079320.

4. Device Permissions

MadGame follows the principle of data minimization and requests minimal permissions:

• android.permission.INTERNET: Required for real-time game socket communication, account sync, and ad requests.
• android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Used to detect network connectivity and seamlessly handle game room reconnects.
• No Sensitive Permissions: The application does NOT request camera, microphone, continuous background GPS location, address book, or local media storage permissions.

5. Data Safety & Security

All communication between the MadGame client and our backend servers is encrypted using industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS and WSS). We implement role-based access control and strict internal policies to prevent unauthorized data access.

6. Data Retention & Account Deletion

We retain account data only as long as your account remains active. You have full control over your personal information:

• Account Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and all associated game history at any time through the in-app profile settings or by sending a request to madcodelab68@gmail.com.
• Processing Timeline: Account deletion requests are verified and permanently purged from active production databases within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

MadGame is intended for general audiences, teenagers, and adults (recommended age 13+). We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information without parental consent, we take immediate steps to delete such data.
